Geisinger Addiction Medicine Fellowhip Program is one of the oldest AMF's in the country. Geisinger provides program hosts a dedicated talented faculty many of whom are alumni of the program. The Geisinger AMF curriculum includes in-patient rotations at Marworth Treatment Center ranked #1 in Pennsylvania for three consecutive years, and rotations in OP-MAT clinics and MAT continuity clinics, Methadone clinic rotation, OB, Infectious Disease, Child-Adolescent Psyc, Counseling, Psyc, Drug Court, are innovative Ask-A-Doc virtual consult service, Pain Management, TH, along with a range of electives to choose from including (CL, Hepatology, Gastro). Our program also has a six-week Scholarly Work rotation (virtually) with the opportunity to work with Geisinger's Center for Substance Use Research. Didactics are held of Friday afternoons along with monthly Addiction Medicine Journal Club and Methadone Journal Clubs. We also incorporate standarized patient simulation experiences into our Didactic Curriculm.
