Addiction Medicine Fellow

The Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Southern Hills Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare Sunrise Health GME Consortium in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking 1 additional Fellow for 2026-2027. The 1-year ACGME accredited multi-disciplinary fellowship accepts applications from board certified physicians of any specialty. 

The fellowship provides a broad-spectrum, evidence-based and community-focused training foundation for new Addiction Medicine specialists as well as for physicians seeking to integrate more addiction-focused care for their patients, families and the greater community in need.

The fellowship rotations include a newly established Addiction Medicine Consult Service at SHH - first ADM Consult Service in Nevada - as well as training through various community partners - methadone clinics, addiction treatment centers – both safety-net and private centers, primary care practices which incorporate addiction treatment, and the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System.  Key community experiences include Harm Reduction Sites, Mutual Help Groups and Street Medicine and Homeless Outreach with Shine A Light Foundation (https://www.shinealightlv.com/).  Electives include Pain Management, ID/HCV and HIV, ICU Management of Complicated Withdrawal, Perinatal SUDs and Neonatal Abstinence and more.
