The Alaska Addiction Medicine Fellowship is seeking one additional Fellow for the 2026–2027 academic year. This one-year, ACGME-accredited, multi-disciplinary program offers advanced training in addiction medicine for board-certified or board-eligible physicians from any specialty.

Our evidence-based curriculum, grounded in contemporary learning theory, explores the biopsychosocial-spiritual dimensions of addiction. Fellows will:

  • Engage in scholarly activities alongside faculty and other graduate medical learners.
  • Will work within tribal health and in rural Alaska. 
  • Develop expertise in contemporary addiction medicine research.
  • Receive personalized 1:1 mentorship to optimize learning and professional growth.
  • Shape their own development by pursuing interests in clinical care, administration, or advocacy.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
