Medical Director – Comprehensive outpatient and Opioid Treatment Program

We are seeking a visionary and compassionate Medical Director to provide essential clinical leadership, regulatory oversight, and dedicated direct patient care. In this role, you will champion our clinical operations, supervise our growing medical staff, and collaborate closely with executive leadership to elevate the quality of addiction medicine in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership & Staff Supervision: Deliver direct clinical supervision and mentorship to our medical team, including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs).
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner dynamically with the Program Director and non-medical therapeutic staff to ensure seamless, integrated, and holistic care plans for every patient at New Choices Recovery Center.
• Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive intake assessments for individuals entering our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP/Methadone). Provide critical follow-up care, order and evaluate necessary laboratory testing, and oversee ongoing medication-assisted treatment management.
• Policy & Compliance Oversight: Direct the development, evaluation, and refinement of all medical policies and clinic procedures to ensure absolute compliance with NYS OASAS, DEA, SAMHSA, and federal regulations.
